Majority of CEA members gathered at a dinner party held at Koi Palace in Daly City, California on March 3^rd 2008 to welcome Mr. and Mrs. GAO, Zhansheng as the new Consulate General of PRC in San Francisco. This party also featured the announcement of new CEA president.

Mr. XIA, Zhongrui, CEA President delivered the speech to warmly welcome Mr. and Mrs. Consulate General Gao. He also introduced Mr. Zhang Zailing(Charlie) as the new CEA president. He expressed his appreciation to both the Consulate General of PRC and CEA members for their supports to his work during past five years as the CEA president.

Mr. Gao, the new consulate general spoke at the party. He re-stated that the PRC Consulate General will continue its support to CEA as it has done from its start-up. He also spoke on the major tasks of PRC Consulate General in coming days such as supporting Beijing Olympic Games. He said CEA is a major reliable support to the PRC Consulate General and should be performing an important role in upcoming events and tasks.
