Frank Tan

CEO, Zhongguancun Science Center, Inc., a California Non-Profitable Corporation,

he is also the Chief Representative of Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park's Silicon Valley Office since 2004.

·        Mr. Tan was one of the pioneering entrepreneurs who started first group of private sector high-tech companies in China in 1980s. He served as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Beijing Stone Group Co.

·        In 1988 Mr. Tan came to Silicon Valley to set up Stone's US Branch and served as CEO till 1999.

·        Mr. Tan worked as VP of CENTEK, a public company in China, during 1999-2004.

·        Mr. Tan has over 20 years of experience of working for high-tech industry between Beijing Zhongguancun and Silicon Valley in the US.

·        Graduated from Peking University, Mr. Tan has also obtained his Master Degree in China Academy of Social Sciences.

·         He was a visiting scholar at East Asia Study Center, Stanford University, during 1989- 1991.
